Free Consultation and Evaluation

RLB II gives free telephone consultations and free case evaluations prior to quoting any attorney fees. The evaluation includes reviewing the prospective client's criminal complaint or indictment, confidentially discussing the underlying facts, and then analyzing the case for potential defenses. Consultations and evaluations also include taking jail calls, however visiting new prospective clients in jail requires payment of a small fee which is credited towards quoted fees if retained. By West Virginia State Bar Rules, all conversations and evaluations prior to being retained remain confidential, even if RLB II is not retained.
